On Friday 28th March 2025, many of the inaugural cohort of the CLO100 Learning Leaders Programme celebrated their achievements at a formal certification ceremony hosted at Leeds University Business School (LUBS). The programme, a pioneering collaboration between CLO100 and Leeds University Business School, empowers L&D leaders with the skills, insights, and networks necessary to drive meaningful transformation in their organisations.

Cathy Hoy and Robert Wagner, the co-founders of CLO100, joined Tone Thomas Vaduthala, Director of Executive Education at LUBS, to mark this significant milestone. The ceremony celebrated not just the professional development of the participants but also the profound sense of community that emerged during this programme which is recognised at Level 7.

The successful delegates were awarded with the Executive Certificate in Strategic Learning Leadership from Leeds University Business School, and are completing the Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice from The Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

“Hearing participants share how the programme has directly influenced their work and strengthened their leadership capabilities was inspiring. The partnership with Leeds University Business School has been integral to this programme’s success, and this celebration really demonstrates what we’ve achieved together.” - Cathy Hoy, CLO100.

During the event, participants reflected on the impact of the programme, practical applications, and emphasis on building meaningful connections. Many noted their transformation not only as professionals but as part of a close-knit community of learning leaders.

Tone Thomas Vaduthala, added, “Hosting this certification event was the perfect way to recognise the incredible accomplishments of these L&D leaders. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading through regular reflection submissions from the cohort and hearing about their progress.”

The Learning Leaders Programme is the new standard for professional development in the learning and development field. By equipping its participants with actionable strategies, enhanced commercial awareness, and the confidence to lead groundbreaking initiatives within their organisations.

CLO100 looks forward to welcoming the next cohort in September and continuing to drive professional education, connection, and innovation in the L&D community.
