Cathy Hoy, CEO of CLO100, will set the stage for the World of Learning Conference by delivering the opening interactive session titled "Strategies for Maximising Your Impact as a Learning and Development Leader." This session aims to provide practical advice and actionable approaches for advancing leadership within L&D roles. By offering a space for reflection and shared experiences, Cathy will guide attendees through strategies designed to address modern challenges and opportunities in the field.

On the afternoon of Day 2, Cathy will interview Kate Adie CBE, former Chief News Correspondent for the BBC. Their discussion will explore leadership dynamics, drawing on lessons from her experience as a war correspondent to inspire the L&D community. This exchange promises to provide fresh perspectives and thought-provoking takeaways for attendees.

CLO100 is also proud to highlight contributions from delegates of the CLO100 Learning Leaders Programme. These include:

  • Peter Plumlee, presenting a tailored session focusing on “The critical role of L&D in effective onboarding.”
  • Rachel Moore, sharing her perspective on “Leveraging learning and development for transformative growth.”
  • Danielle Ware, exploring actionable methods for “L&D’s role in upskilling talent at scale.”
  • Jennifer Eeeles-Gosovi, leading a practical session “Harnessing the power of learner engagement.”

Each of these sessions reflects CLO100’s commitment to elevating the voices of experienced leaders while providing practical insights for the wider L&D community.

CLO100 views The World of Learning Conference as a vital opportunity to support professional growth, spark innovation, and encourage knowledge-sharing across the sector. The team is looking forward to connecting with attendees, contributing to meaningful discussions, and supporting the ongoing development of L&D leadership.
