Virginia Beach, VA — January 31, 2008 ----- Coastal Training Technologies has recently released Roadway Worker Safety: In the Zone, its latest program on road construction safety.
The program is a timely response to an increasingly urgent safety issue. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health reports that each year, more than 100 workers are killed and over 20,000 are injured in the highway and street construction industry. The likelihood of these accidents can only increase as road work expands under a $234-billion-multi-year transportation law.
