Arc Flash: Live to Tell draws its content from the 2009 NFPA Guidelines, giving facilities up-to-date safety and compliance information. It defines a qualified worker and illustrates the four different types of analysis: electrical hazard, shock hazard, arc flash, and incident energy. It describes the safe use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cites a few criteria in selecting PPE, including rating and determining whether it’s right for a task. Arc Flash: Live to Tell also explains the characteristics of an electrically safe work condition.
Using gripping footage Arc Flash: Live to Tell features real explosions that stress the importance of life-saving training. The program is currently available on DVD and Coastal eLearning. Call 800-861-2221 to order a FREE 7-day preview
