STOP™ uses a three-part instructional design to impart the information, maximize retention and apply learning to the real world.
• In Individual Self-Study, participants learn basic concepts and begin safety skill development.

• In Group Meetings, participants watch a video and exchange ideas, comments and feedback about the program.

STOP™ for Supervision
This course trains line management to take responsibility and eliminate incidents and injuries. It develops a critical skill in observing people as they work, developing caring and positive relationships with employees, correcting unsafe acts, preventing injuries and reinforcing safe practices. STOP™ for Supervision builds a common understanding and commitment to safety in the workplace.
STOP™ For Each Other
This course helps employees acquire new safety perspectives. It develops self-accountability and teamwork, training employees to rely on themselves and each other to stay safe. It also fosters increased peer-to-peer communication and allows safety to become second nature to the individual and, over time, a greater and more integral part of the company culture.
• STOP™ for Ergonomics
Cultivating an eye for ergonomics, this course trains employees to spot and remedy hazards through a powerful observation model. It also encourages peer-to-peer communication and illustrates safe ergonomic practices that improve performance and enhance existing safety programs.
• STOP DataPro™
A companion to the three STOP™ programs, this is DuPont's standard data management tool for administering the progam, gathering data and measuring results.
• Implementation Assistance Workshop
This introductory workshop precedes each STOP™ for Supervision and STOP™ for Each Other implementation to increase the likelihood of success. STOP™ experts lay the groundwork for the actual training, tailored to ensure optimum investment returns and forge a strong STOP™ foundation in the organization.
The workshop is either conducted on-site at the client's location for up to 20 participants or as a scheduled open session.
