DuPont Launches New Electrical Measurement Training Program
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., July 14, 2014 -- DuPont Sustainable Solutions has launched a new training program that can help organizations strengthen their employees’ technical competencies and make the transition to digital electrical measurement.
Electrical Measurement: Digital Multimeters and Clampmeters examines the key components and basic functions of multimeters; the parts of the display and control panel; operational dos and don’ts; proper care and maintenance; and safety procedures.
“In an industry where most equipment has gone digital, the complex array of screens, knobs and buttons can be intimidating for many employees,” said Emile Husson, maintenance and reliability product manager, Learning & Development, DuPont Sustainable Solutions. “And the prospect of learning how to operate such devices – including digital multimeters and clampmeters – can be equally daunting.”
To ease employees into the process, the program features compelling graphics and video clips accompanied by straightforward voiceover descriptions. For each subsection of the course, the program provides various do’s and don’ts on handling, operating and maintenance.
