UK's first Masters in Digital Marketing Communications (MSc) enters its third year
Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and Internet research and training specialist, Econsultancy, announce that registration is open for the 2009 Masters in Digital Marketing Communications (MSc) student intake.
The course is now in its third year and is recognized for
combining top quality tutorial and academic support with a strong
emphasis on up to date digital marketing practice and guidance.
This focus on the development of practical skills for the workplace
is achieved by running tuition sessions with specialist
Econsultancy trainers with extensive and current industry
experience.
The MSc has been designed specifically to give students skills for
the workplace and to fit around their current employment. Study
periods are flexible and students can learn more or less
intensively as long as the full programme is completed within 5
years.
The 2009 syllabus emphasizes increasing the effectiveness of the
areas of digital marketing that are more crucial to businesses and
organizations operating in the current economic climate.
Subject areas within the course units are flexible allowing
students to pick and mix the areas they wish to study and include
popular modules such as Web Project Management, Email Marketing,
Online PR and Social Media Marketing, Online Copywriting and Mobile
Marketing.
The 2009 intake will start on 21st September, 2009.
Current student Róisín Waite from LV=, explains why she chose the
Econsultancy/MMU Masters in Digital Communications: "When I found
out that it is led by expert lecturers, most of whom work in the
field and can offer practical insight into the methods they teach,
that was the deciding factor. I'm really happy with the course.
It's highly relevant and the modules are bang up to date and I am
applying learnings to my day-to-day job. I wouldn't hesitate in
recommending it."
Ginny Hendricks from Ardent Marketing adds: "I've been impressed
with how up-to-date the content has been. Just within the space of
a single term there emerged new digital techniques that were
instantly incorporated into the course; I really feel like I'm
keeping ahead of the game."
Craig Hanna, Training Director, Econsultancy commented: "We are
delighted that the doors are now open to our third cohort of
students looking for a post graduate digital marketing
qualification. Our successful partnership with the MMU provides the
right balance of tuition and support, class and online learning and
hands on training sessions culminating in an internationally
recognised academic qualification for successful students. It's
been a pleasure to meet such a motivated group of people and we
look forward to welcoming new students in 2009."
