Evidence Informed Practice Conference Preview
Conference organiser, Tom McDowall and opening keynote speaker, Matthew Richter, join Learning News to preview the upcoming Evidence Informed Practice Conference in Birmingham this May.
A growing theme in workplace learning is the gap between well designed learning and actual performance change. The Evidence Informed Practice Conference 2026, taking place in Birmingham this May, is about that challenge.
It connects insights from psychology, neuro- and behavioural science with the day-to-day realities of organisational performance, and asks why learning interventions can sometimes fail to deliver lasting impact, even when they appear engaging and well designed.
Joining Rob Clarke on Learning News to preview the event are the conference organiser, Tom McDowall, and opening keynote speaker Matthew Richter.
