In partnership with RecFest the research investigates how talent acquisition leaders are innovating and managing change How are talent acquisition teams approaching both new workplace dynamics and a changing market? Fosway Group, Europe’s #1 HR industry analyst, is delighted to again partner with RecFest, the world’s largest talent acquisition event, to promote and open the TA Realities Research 2025 to explore how TA is managing change and evolving as a function.

Now in its fourth year, the research looks at TA leaders’ challenges and opportunities around budgets and investment, strategy, AI developments, and the solutions landscape. To help promote this cycle of the survey and research into the ever-changing function of TA to the widest audience so far, partnering with RecFest, an organisation disrupting both the TA and events space is the perfect fit.

Last year’s research revealed that nearly 60% of TA professionals who responded to the survey are using recruiting agencies less, in finding new candidates. An evidently significant hit, as in-house recruiters shift towards social channels, employee referrals and increasingly targeted, proactive recruitment campaigns. Respondents also reported that their priorities for the year included improving the quality of hire, improving the candidate experience and hiring externally. This year’s survey continues to track these areas as well as identifying the most successful approaches to hiring.

“AI is radically transforming recruiting strategies and practices. But, what’s unclear is how fast that transformation is filtering through into the day to day of TA teams. Anecdotally we see seismic shifts from our conversations with TA leaders, but just how widespread those revolutionary changes are, is harder to judge, said David Perring, Chief Insights Officer at Fosway Group. “By getting involved in our survey, not only are you able to get a sense of your benchmark with AI in recruiting, but also where in the curve the entire industry is in adoption and success. All great insights and intel are based on great data, and today every HR, recruiting and resourcing leader needs to be part of that story…”

The research will remain open until the end of August 2025. All respondents will receive priority access to the research findings.
