FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance announces two senior appointments
Financial Times | IE Business School Corporate Learning Alliance has appointed two experienced learning professionals in roles designed to strengthen its offering in executive education and leadership development.
FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance was established in December 2015 to provide a new, unique approach to customised executive education, involving Financial Times content and journalists, allied to established business school faculty and global educator expertise.
Liz-Ann Gayle – Head of Innovation
Liz-Ann Gayle will head a team at FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance responsible for identifying, creating and integrating innovative learning methods, technologies and impact measurement tools into customised learning programmes. She has significant experience in designing executive education programmes, strategic planning, operational improvement and project management.
Liz-Ann is also an executive coach and professional leadership facilitator. She has both academic and commercial experience: she is a former Design Director at London Business School where, over two and a half years, she led the design and delivery of the largest value and most complex client engagements; and the former Chief Operating Officer of the global telecom, media and technology investment banking team of ABN AMRO Bank.
Liz-Ann Gayle recently attended Harvard University as part of her ongoing continuous professional development. She holds an MA from Yale University and an international MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She will join FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance in early October.
Dr Paul Hughes – Client Programme Director
Paul Hughes joins FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance as Client Programme Director. He will work with a fast-growing international 18-strong delivery team designing and managing customised executive learning programmes. He will play an important leadership role by contributing to the development of FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance’s approach to executive learning in ways that meet its clients’ strategic aims.
He joins from Cranfield School of Management where he was Head of the Praxis Centre for Leadership Development, and previously a Director in the Centre for Customised Executive Development. Paul brings wide-ranging experience in corporate learning using global blended, networked and e-learning approaches, as well consulting experience in performance, talent management and change.
He was awarded his doctorate for research into the ways leadership influences employee performance. Paul also holds a degree in law from the University of Aberdeen and an MBA in strategic leadership from the University of Ulster.
