iConnect providing video technology solutions for learning and development
At the upcoming Learning Technologies event in London Andy Newell of iConnect will demonstrate how the company that took education by storm is now solving common learning and development challenges for business, with their experiential video technology.
Accordance VAT, an international professional services company has recently implemented iConnect to revolutionise the way training is delivered to its sales force.
Lucy Franklin, Sales Director at Accordance had expressed how training new hires was a time-consuming process and was concerned over the effectiveness of their onboarding procedure.
iConnect was used as a solution to solve: time and capacity limitations, embedding skills and knowledge and improving selling.
When iConnect was introduced they uploaded all of their sales materials onto the iConnect platform and used the iConnect IOS app to record and upload example roleplays and sales calls from their best consultants. iConnect successfully increased revenue and productivity.
“We’ve increased our revenue by 24% on the same period last year,” Lucy Franklin, Sales Director.
Utilising video for professional development increases both efficiency of training and employee engagement. iConnect’s easy to use platform encourages staff to capture their best working practice and share it within their organisation. iConnect creates a collaborative learning space where employees can work together to ask questions and overcome common challenges around visible behaviours.
Until recently, video has mainly been used to disseminate information. iConnect is revolutionising the way video is used in the workplace. Focusing on video capture rather than video content.
iConnect offers contextualised feedback and analytical tools within the system and allows personalised areas of focus to be measured.
iConnect empowers staff to be in charge of their learning, encouraging development and reflectivity throughout their career.
As well as helping sales professionals reach their full potential, iConnect is being used across multiple sectors and disciplines to ensure higher quality learning and development, by making social and experiential learning, visible.
Learning is a constant process and iConnect’s vision is for all organisations is to invest in the development of their staff in a way that works.
iConnect is at Learning Technologies 2017: its stand will be located at E19 on both days of the show. Offering an alternative interpretation of the 70.20.10 theory, Andy Newell will be holding an open seminar on the 02/02/17 in theatre 3 10.15-10.45. Andy Newell will demonstrate the capabilities of experiential video capture and explore the ways video can be used to enrich learning and development.
