Mental health awareness training
Alex Hathway of Nimble Elearning talks about a mental health awareness training project with Espirita Learning.
At World of Learning 2018, Alex Hathway from Nimble Elearning hosted a workshop session about his company's recent project with Espirita Learning to promote mental health awareness training. Dan Lane, Training Manager from Espirita, presented the session, where he outlined key responsibilities to maintain a workplace that is aware of mental health issues.
Nimble and Espirita ran a 2-day mental health first aid training course created by Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA) and a mental health awareness elearning course was developed: Mental Health Awareness. MHFA is now internationally recognised and helps people spot the signs of mental ill-health and provide help on a first aid basis. The Mental Health Awareness online course is also part of the mental health bundle of courses Espirita Learning have created using Nimble.
Learning News interviewed Alex Hathway at World of Learning where he explained about the need to promote mental health awareness training and about the programme with Espirita Learning.
