Debunking digital transformation: Euan Semple at LT2019
Euan Semple on digital transformation in L&D at LT2019: understanding the landscape, grabbing the opportunity.
70% of organisations are underway with digital transformation, yet ‘digital transformation’ remains a term more widely used than understood.
At the recent Learning Technologies Conference, Euan Semple hosted a session aiming to help L&D to better understand the broader landscape of digital transformation and how it can make the most of this unique moment in time.
After his presentation Learning News caught up with Euan to ask him how he feels L&D is progressing with digital transformation.
Euan Semple has been a leader and an influencer in the ever changing field of digital technology for two decades. While with the BBC he implemented one of the world’s first enterprise social network systems and helped the BBC to understand new technologies and make better decisions about their use. He has subsequently worked around the world with organisations including BP, The World Bank, The European commission and Volvo, stretching their thinking about digital transformation in all its forms and to ensure that they end up doing the right things for the right reasons.
