Rising Star - interview with Sarah Davies at LearningLive Networks

Sarah Davies won the Rising Star Gold Award at the Learning Awards 2019 and Learning News cameras caught up with her at the recent LearningLive Networks meeting in London to find out more about her work at Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust.

Sarah started work in the NHS at age sixteen and has been there ever since, for the last four years in the learning and development function: a typically under-resourced and over-stretched NHS L&D team, which provides learning and development for the Ambulance Services across the whole of Wales.

We asked Sarah about the challenges her and the L&D team face.

In the interview it becomes clear why Sarah won the 2019 Rising Star Award: an outstanding professional displaying many of the characteristics and attitudes needed to be successful and to reach the top in learning and development.
