Royal Mail’s dog safety VR training
Royal Mail’s James Barton and Sponge’s Kate Pasterfield discuss Royal Mail’s virtual reality dog safety training.
Royal Mail’s virtual reality dog safety training has helped Royal Mail to significantly reduce the number of dog attacks on its workers.
The programme was developed in 2018 by Sponge and at the recent Learning Technologies event in London Learning News was fortunate to be able to interview James Barton, Online Learning Manager at Royal Mail and Kate Pasterfield, Chief Innovation Officer at Sponge, to find out more about it.
We asked James and Kate why virtual reality was selected for the training and about the challenges in creating VR learning materials.
