Cornerstone report reveals UK employers are not meeting skills development needs; Interview with Mike Bollinger.
Findings from Cornerstone's 2023 Talent Health Index report show half of UK workers don’t believe their employers are meeting their development needs and confidence among UK employers in their organisation's skills development is the lowest in Europe.
On the flip side, the gap in confidence between employees and employers is lower in the UK (21%) than in France and Germany (36%) implying greater alignment between employees and employers.
The report compares higher- and lower-performing organisations across seven dimensions: culture & technology, skills strategy, content strategy, L&D, performance management, talent mobility, and reporting & data.
