LPI and Netex discuss why independent accreditation is becoming more important as workplace learning buyers look for evidence of business impact.
Independent accreditation is becoming a stronger differentiator in the workplace learning market as buyers place greater emphasis on measurable business impact, according to Ed Monk (LPI) and Ricardo Alvarez Perez (Netex) in discussion with Learning News at Learning Technologies 2026.
The discussion follows Netex’s recent achievement of LPI Gold Vendor Accreditation, recognising the learning technology provider against the Learning and Performance Institute’s independent standards framework.
Monk said organisations are placing greater emphasis on trust when selecting learning partners. Independent accreditation, he said, helps provide reassurance. Both pointed to growing market pressures that are increasing the importance of external validation.
