Litmos Heroes Health and Safety Courses Gain RoSPA Stamp of Approval
Following a rigourous assessment from RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Litmos Heroes, a global provider of video-based off-the-shelf training content, announced that several of their key Health and Safety courses have gained RoSPA approval. This stamp of approval displays the organisation’s ongoing commitment to achieving consistently high standards of content and delivery.
Keeping your business safe with high-quality courses
RoSPA offers a thorough, comprehensive service which conveys a sense of quality. As such, it is vital that high standards are achieved and maintained. Not all courses are eligible for approval, but those that are must first undergo a thorough assessment. This entails a RoSPA Consultant conducting an in-depth review of all course materials and observing the standard of delivery.
Following this assessment, Litmos Heroes have had three of their Health and Safety courses approved, signifying high quality and standards of training. All courses use engaging, animated explainer videos which are easy to navigate and presented in bite-sized chunks.
The three courses which have achieved approval are:
- Food Safety and Hygiene in Catering – This course examines everyone’s personal responsibility for food hygiene and safety, including some of the legal implications. It covers the main causes and symptoms of foodborne diseases, as well as how to identify and prevent them.
- Food Safety and Hygiene in Catering Level 2 – Exploring the importance of food hygiene, including food safety hazards, their sources and methods of control, this course provides learners with the knowledge and understanding to handle, process and prepare food safely.
- Asbestos Awareness – This course sets out the guidance issued by the UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA) for the provision of asbestos awareness training as contained within the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR), providing learners with knowledge of how to avoid work that may disturb asbestos during any normal work.
This approval follows a successful year for Litmos Heroes, having also received Accreditation from the Learning and Performance Institute as a Learning Provider, as well as securing a ‘Rising Star’ award at the LPI Awards in February 2018.
Speaking of the RoSPA approval, Danielle Kennedy, Director of Learning at Litmos Heroes, said:
