Looop Co-Founder Ben Muzzell Calls on Businesses to Ban the Boardroom At Learning Technologies
Looop, the simplified online training platform for business, is demonstrating how many companies are wasting time and money on outdated corporate training systems, during its attendance at the 2015 Learning Technologies show.
Looop offers a cloud-based training platform for businesses to simplify their training, helping them streamline their content into bite-size bursts of learning, that make it easy for employees to take in information and access it when they need it most.
Unlike many Learning Management Systems (LMS) on the market, Looop aims to democratise the process across organisations, regardless of size, budget or specialist software knowledge.
Traditionally, workplace LMS have been expensive and time-consuming to maintain with the onus being on one particular department or individual to manage. Looop makes it easy to effectively roll out training modules in a matter of clicks; for companies going through significant growth, this is particularly important.
Looop believes that microlearning will revolutionise traditional e-learning; the notion that we retain more information in shorter bursts of concentration. The Looop platform has been designed specifically with this learning technique in mind, engineered to disrupt the outdated corporate training model. Looop allows employees to tap into training sessions at their desk or on the move, via the mobile version.
Ben Muzzell, co-founder, Looop said: “Given it’s predicted that 50% of the workforce will be millennials by 2020, businesses are falling short when it comes to delivering impactful training. Forget death by PowerPoint, 100 page manuals or half a day stuck in the boardroom with twenty colleagues. Next-generation employees, who today are learning and doing in a non-linear fashion, should not have to change their behaviour when they walk in the door of the wider economy.”
Looop is exhibiting at the Learning Technologies show, which takes place over 28 and 29 January, 2015, at Olympia London. Looop is at stand 196.
