Local authorities in North West use e-learning to support staff on COVID-secure working
Education provider Marshall E-Learning responds to demand in online learning.
2nd November 2020, LONDON, UK - Four local authorities in the North West of England have invested in a series of specially created training courses to support staff working during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Manchester City Council, Oldham, Blackburn, and Burnley Councils have all sought a digital learning solution for their guidance to staff. The e-learning resource, titled Future Ways of Working, produced by Marshall E-Learning comprises tutorials on:
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Leading and managing in times of uncertainty
- Returning to work safely and working in a socially distanced way
- Managing remote teams
All are topics which have impacted businesses across the country.
At the start of lockdown, Marshall responded quickly by creating a suite of lockdown tools aimed at team leaders and organisations managing multiple staff off-site.
With the pressure on time, Marshall also made sure that each project was completed and rolled out within one week, enabling the local authorities to train staff quickly and consistently.
