Marshall E-Learning launches new module on Supporting Students Experiencing Domestic Violence
Marshall E-Learning, a Ciphr company, launches a new module designed to tackle the prevalent issue of domestic violence across university campuses and the HE sector more widely.
Marshall E-Learning Consultancy, part of Ciphr and a leading UK-based provider of eLearning training is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new student and HE-focused module on Supporting Students Experiencing Domestic Violence.
Universities, and the HE sector more broadly, are experiencing an increase in domestic violence amongst students. University staff members must be equipped to effectively deal with this issue and support their students appropriately.
The module equips learners with a thorough understanding of what domestic violence is, the different types of abuse and the key UK legislation relating to it. For HE staff members, it highlights their responsibility, and those of their institution, to actively prevent domestic violence and be a valuable support network for students.
The module features recommendations for universities issued by Universities UK (UUK) on how to support students in this position. The module also features a vast list of Resources for effective and appropriate signposting.
