Home Care Institute Improves Customer Experience with NetDimensions Talent Suite
NetDimensions announced today that Home Care Institute (HCI) has successfully implemented NetDimensions Talent Suite to power their business of providing training courses in areas such as compliance, leadership, regulation, and disease management to home health and hospice clients. HCI LearnCenter Portal serves more than 40,000 users from home health and hospice client organizations.
NetDimensions (AIM: NETD; OTCQX: NETDY), a global provider of performance, knowledge, and learning management systems, announced today that Home Care Institute (HCI) has successfully implemented NetDimensions Talent Suite to power their business of providing training courses in areas such as compliance, leadership, regulation, and disease management to home health and hospice clients.
HCI is a leading provider of educational resources for the home health and hospice industries. It offers a comprehensive library of eLearning courses and resources for over 250 client organizations and 40,000 end-users in all 50 states and Canada via the HCI LearnCenter Portal.
HCI needed a stable, enterprise-grade Learning Management System (LMS) that is easy to use so they can deliver, track, and report on training programs for each client.
“Our former LMS vendor had gone through two major mergers in the last 2 years. We were extremely dissatisfied with their platform and service,“ explained Lu Post, President and Founder of HCI.
“We were struggling with issues surrounding user integration with the platform, reporting, accuracy in tracking, significant system downtime, and lack of customer service responsiveness. Our considerable growth escalated the inefficiencies of the platform, leading to stress on our support resources and client dissatisfaction.”
HCI chose NetDimensions Talent Suite because it can effectively support an extended enterprise business model. Each client organization can have its own learning portal to access the training courses that are relevant to the skills and competency needs of that organization’s members.
“We decided to partner with NetDimensions because their product has all the learning features that we need. The permissions-based functionality allows efficient management of multiple client organizations, but still enables us to maintain a central catalog of content. Our clients can also create user accounts easily,” Post added.
Issues Resolved within the first 6 months with NetDimensions
Although it was a major challenge for HCI to switch to a new LMS within a very short timeframe, HCI completed this migration within 8 weeks of contract execution by working very closely with NetDimensions’ professional services team.
“Within 6 months since we completed implementation, we were able to appreciate a system that completely resolved the issues we had with our previous platform. This resulted in significant reduction of our internal client support needs, an improved user integration process, and a much more stable platform. We are extremely happy with our decision to partner with NetDimensions,” Post concluded.
Mark Sanmarco, General Manager, North America at NetDimensions said: “We are excited that HCI selected NetDimensions Talent Suite to deliver training to their extended enterprise community. While a lot of vendors in our space treat client satisfaction as an afterthought, we have different priorities and invest in the success of our clients working together with them as partners and allowing our clients to set apart from their competitors.”
