ITIL Foundation Qualifications at Reed Learning
Reed Learning, one of the UK's most respected learning solutions providers, is to start running ITIL® Foundation courses and qualifications accredited by BCS. These will take the form of open courses run from their learning centre in central London as well as in-company courses for clients across the UK and Europe.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the hugely popular ITIL® qualification: ITIL® has helped to develop standards in IT service management so that IT businesses and departments can deliver better quality services to customers. Last year over 260,000 people sat the ITIL® Foundation exam.
As an Accredited Training Organisation approved by BCS, Reed Learning will work to deliver high quality ITIL training with a view to expanding the market for ITIL® beyond its traditional target audience.

About the ITIL® Foundation course
The ITIL® Foundation course covers ITIL®’s five interrelated “lifecycle” phases:
- Service Strategy – understanding organisational and customer needs, and objectives
- Service Design – turning strategies for services into a detailed business service plan
- Service Transition – building, delivering and developing capability for introducing new services to organisations and customers
- Service Operations – day-to-day management of services
- Continual Service Improvement – selecting and managing incremental service improvements
Learners also get to take the one hour ITIL® Foundation examination during the course.
