International Think Tank set to bring global L&D practices together at LEARNING LIVE
The dedicated conference group represents a unique opportunity to explore differences and share global best practice
For the first time in its history LPI Conference LEARNING LIVE 2012 will host a dedicated International Think Tank on Thursday 13th September 2012. With the help of an international panel of experts the think tank will pull together the experiences and views of a global networking of learning professionals, with discussion throughout the day centered on three key topics – Research, Technology and Collaboration/Culture.
To promote valuable interaction the think tank is designed to be an intimate, focused group of panellists and delegates. The panels will consist of ten leading figures in the field from the UK, America, UAE, Africa and continental Europe. Amongst this year’s panel is Piers Lea, European Learning Industry Group (ELIG) Ambassador, as well as David Mallon and Stacey Harris who head the research teams at Bersin & Associates and Brandon Hall respectively.
Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) Chairman, Donald H Taylor said: “The International Think Tank represents a unique opportunity for the global learning community. Throughout the day we’ll be discussing key topics which influence the international learning landscape.
“Those attending the event will get to join in the debate, chat informally with peers from across all continents and take away invaluable advice on how to prosper in a global learning environment.”
