LPI announces framework to measure, benchmark and improve organisational learning
The Learning and Performance Accelerator (LPA) evaluates and benchmarks learning organisations against a balanced and holistic framework, driving clarity and confidence for learning leaders with data-driven insight and industry best practice.
The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute) announces a framework and web-based platform that helps learning leaders evaluate and compare their performance and strategic approach against others.
Taking inspiration from the LPI Capability Map and leveraging data from LEARNING LIVE attendees to uncover common learning department challenges, the framework – known as the Learning and Performance Accelerator (LPA) – helps heads of learning reflect on what is important and gain a clearer understanding of where potential challenges lie.
The LPA framework covers six components (Technology, Skills, Leadership, Data, Culture, Infrastructure), each considered essential for a balanced, holistic, and cohesive approach to organisational learning strategy. Each component comprises a self-assessment that evaluates performance in each of the six areas, covering topics such as technology adoption, skills gaps, C-suite influence, agility, and company culture.
Outputs from the framework include a personal self-assessment report that can be compared against historic entries (participants may submit multiple self-assessments) and online, real-time reports showing anonymised responses from other organisations – comparing results both by industry and across the entire database.
Users who wish to discuss their reports in more detail can request a complimentary person-to-person consultation directly from the platform, and take advantage of LPI expertise in best-practice recommendations and industry insights.
The LPI will release regular insights and trends from the aggregated data (protecting the anonymity of individuals and organisations) to help learning professionals of all levels understand the relationships between the six components.
