Axia Solutions delivers workplace training to power West Midlands industry
Axia Solutions is playing a growing role in strengthening the West Midlands economy through targeted workplace learning programmes tailored to local industry needs.
Based in Stoke-on-Trent, the provider works with employers across manufacturing, logistics, ceramics, business services and facilities, designing training that supports skills development directly aligned to organisational strategy. All programmes are delivered on site by industry practitioners, allowing businesses to upskill their workforce with minimal operational disruption.
Apprenticeships and functional skills in Maths and English form the core of Axia’s offer, with a focus on inclusive provision that supports adult learners, returners to education and those with additional needs. Employers benefit from high engagement levels and practical outcomes, while learners gain the confidence and capabilities to thrive in the workplace.
The provider was recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, joining just 5% of independent training providers in the West Midlands to achieve the top grade. Inspectors praised the quality of teaching, learner support, and curriculum design, noting that “apprentices of all ages, backgrounds and abilities thrive”.
Managing Director Victoria Harte said the rating reflected the strength of Axia’s employer partnerships and commitment to professional delivery: ‘We’re focused on supporting real change, for individuals, for businesses, and for the region. This recognition reinforces the impact we’re making together.’
Axia’s previous initiatives include developing the UK’s first Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship specifically for women, launched with Strategi Solutions Group to support diversity in leadership.
