David Kelly joins Bluewater Learning as SVP of Strategy & Transformation
Bluewater Learning has appointed David Kelly, one of the learning sector’s most recognised voices, as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Transformation.
Kelly joins from The Learning Guild, where he served as Chairman and CEO for more than a decade, building the organisation into one of the most prominent professional communities in workplace learning. His career spans over 25 years of leadership in learning and technology.
In his new role, Kelly will oversee Bluewater’s strategy and transformation agenda, supporting clients in rethinking how technology can reshape learning rather than simply adopting new tools. The appointment strengthens Bluewater’s approach to helping organisations ‘Change Your LMS Without Changing Your LMS’, aligning technology decisions with business outcomes.
Chris Bond, CEO of Bluewater, said: ‘David is one of the most respected voices in our field. His vision of how technology can reshape the way organisations approach learning aligns with Bluewater's mission to help clients transform their businesses by focusing on outcomes, not just tools.’
David Kelly added: ‘Bluewater’s focus on transformation is exactly the kind of meaningful, impactful work I wanted to contribute to at this stage in my career. I look forward to helping organisations not only adopt new tools, but truly rethink how learning can evolve through technology.’
Alongside his role at Bluewater, Kelly remains co-chair of the Learning Technologies Conference in London, is authoring a forthcoming book with ATD Press, and continues to host industry podcasts Tales from the L&D Bookshelf and Modern Learning on the Air.
