Global employment provider Velocity Global has rebranded as Pebl, unveiling an AI-first platform to simplify cross-border hiring and compliance. 

More employer of record (EOR) providers adopt AI to accelerate onboarding, improve compliance and deliver faster insights. Pebl positions its platform as combining compliance expertise with self-service technology, offering speed alongside on-demand human support.

Pebl has found that 87% of companies have delayed or cancelled international hiring due to compliance hurdles. Its new platform combines compliance expertise, automation and AI, including an assistant that delivers real-time answers in 50+ languages, to reduce the delays that slow international expansion.

Market significance

Providers are integrating AI and automation to deliver faster, more scalable hiring solutions. Demand for self-service and speed is increasing, pushing vendors to move beyond traditional service-led models.

Pebl is among the largest players in the market: it operates in 185 countries has over 1,500 customers. Its rebrand in an attempt to differentiate through an AI-first approach while retaining its Velocity Global compliance credentials.

The shift from service-led models to AI-driven platforms is redefining expectations for global workforce management, with analysts noting the market is increasingly shaped by automation, real-time analytics and hybrid approaches.
