Martin Baker, the founder and CEO of The Charity Learning Consortium, has become an Ambassador to LINGOs – the likeminded US-based consortium which provides affordable eLearning and resources to humanitarian relief organisations working around the world. The two organisations plan to support one another, and fly the flag for global, award-winning eLearning in the charity sector.

Martin Baker, the founder and CEO of The Charity Learning Consortium, has pledged to help raise the profile of the eLearning Network in 2012 - its 25th anniversary year - after being voted onto the board. Martin brings with him more than 20 years of experience in eLearning, and hopes his knowledge of creating and building The Charity Learning Consortium – the largest group of UK based charities collaborating to make eLearning affordable – will prove valuable in his new role.
eLearning saves time and money for disability charity

United Response, the national disability charity, has won the Charity Learning Award for the best means of engaging their eLearning audience, with a multi pronged approach which ensured that a new money saving online learning programme was adopted by staff. Judges were impressed by the well thought out marketing campaign, which took account of challenges and learners' needs, and ultimately resulted in eLearning take-up being a real success.
